AgroAmerica participated in the VIII National Corporate Social Responsibility Forum: The Future of Business Ethics in Guatemala, organized by the Corporate Social Responsibility Action Center (CentraRSE) in Guatemala.

This forum is the only annual national meeting where companies, government institutions, civil society, academia and international organizations share experiences and discuss Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR as a tool for sustainability.
The role of business ethics and success stories in agribusiness, the environmental and financial sector were discussed during the forum. It was attended by Bernardo Kliksberg, considered the world guru of social responsibility. AgroAmerica had the opportunity to have a closed company meeting with Kliksberg to share ideas on Business Ethics as a Basis for Sustainability.

AgroAmerica, also invited community leaders, with who it keeps a close relationship, to participate in the forum and grow rich with the knowledge and experiences shared in
the event.

Magalí Gabriel, leader of village Chiquirines, municipality of La Blanca, San Marcos, said: Thank you AgroAmerica for being a social responsibility leader and for all the support you give us with health programs, education and employment. I am very happy to participate in this forum and bring new knowledge to my community.

The President of the Community Development Council (COCODE) from village San Francisco Madre Vieja, Tiquisate, Escuintla, stated: Ever since AgroAmerica arrived at our community, we have seen change and a better way of living for the people of our community. These trainings are very important because we learn new things to share with our people.
