AgroAmerica works in partnership with the international organization World Wildlife Fund -WWF- to implement practices that promote the sustainable use of resources.

WWF installed a weather station in one of AgroAmerica’s farms to implement a model for the control of the Sigatoka disease based on climate information, which will allow to make agricultural decisions for the better use of resources.

The plantain growers of the area visited the meteorological station to understand how it operates and were very grateful with the company, stating that it is a very useful tool.

WWF trained AgroAmerica’s workers and local plantain growers on the use of an advanced model to control Sigatoka in plantations of both crops, through sustainable environmental practices.
